- GENERAL REFUND ELIGIBILITY
Due to the digital nature of our products (immediate access to video lectures, downloadable resources, etc.), we have a strict refund policy designed to protect our instructors from abuse and ensure the integrity of our platform.

You may request a refund for a course within 30 days of your purchase, provided you meet the criteria outlined below.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for a refund, you must demonstrate that the course did not meet the expectations set in its promotional materials. Your refund request must include a detailed explanation.
Non-Eligibility (Common Refusal Reasons):
* Change of Mind: Simply changing your mind after purchasing.
* Lack of Use/Time: Not having enough time to complete the course or not using it after purchase.
* Failure to Achieve Desired Result: The course did not help you achieve a personal or professional goal (e.g., didn’t get a job, didn’t master the skill to the level you wanted).
* Accidental Purchase: It is the user’s responsibility to review their cart before completing a purchase. However, we may, at our discretion, review accidental purchase claims if reported immediately.
* Discounts After Purchase: The course going on sale or being offered at a lower price after your purchase.

Audiovarsity offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for courses that are fundamentally not as described.
To qualify for this guarantee, you must:
- Submit a refund request through our [Support Portal support@audiovarsity.co.za within 30 days of your purchase date.
- Provide a clear and detailed reason for your request, explaining how the course content failed to match its description, preview videos, or learning objectives.
- Not have consumed a significant portion of the course. As a general rule, if you have watched more than 50% of the course content or have downloaded multiple supplemental resources, you are not eligible for a refund, as this indicates you have derived significant value from the course.
Our support team will review each request on a case-by-case basis and reserves the right to approve or deny requests based on the evidence provided and your course activity.
- HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
All refund requests must be submitted by:
- Email: Sending a detailed message to support@audiovarsity.co.za from the email address associated with your account.
- Support Form: Using the “Request a Refund” form in our Help Center.
Please include the following information in your request:
* Your full name
* The email address linked to your audiovarsity account
* The course name(s)
* The date of purchase
* The reason for your refund request (detailed explanation required)
Do not request a refund directly from your bank or credit card company (a chargeback). Chargebacks incur high fees for us and our instructors. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting our support team will result in your audiovarsity account being permanently disabled. We are happy to work with you to resolve any issues directly.
- PROCESSING APPROVED REFUNDS
Once your refund is approved by our support team:
* The refund will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
* Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider’s processing times.
* Note: Processing times for international payments may vary. We are not responsible for delays by third-party payment processors.
Upon refund, you will lose access to the course and its associated certificates, Q&A, and downloadable resources.
- SUBSCRIPTION REFUNDS (AUDIOVARSITY PRO)
For monthly or annual audiovarsity Pro subscriptions:
* You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
* Refunds for the current billing period are generally not provided. As you have had unlimited access to all Pro content during the paid period, the service is considered rendered.
* Exceptions may be made, at our sole discretion, if you cancel within 48 hours of the initial subscription charge and have not significantly used the service.
- BUNDLE AND PROMOTIONAL PURCHASES
* Course Bundles: If a bundle is purchased, the refund policy applies to the entire bundle. Partial refunds for individual courses within a bundle are not offered.
* Promotional Codes/Coupons: If a refund is granted for a purchase made with a promo code, the discounted amount will be refunded. Any promo code used will be considered used and may not be reusable.
- INSTRUCTOR-GENERATED REFUNDS
In rare circumstances, an instructor may directly issue a refund to a student for their own course. This is at the sole discretion of the instructor, and audiovarsity is not responsible for these transactions or their terms.
- TECHNICAL ISSUES
We strive to provide a seamless experience. If you are unable to access a course due to a technical fault on our platform that our support team cannot resolve within a reasonable time frame (72 hours), you will be eligible for a full refund.
- POLICY UPDATES
Audiovarsity reserves the right to update, modify, or change this Refund Policy at any time to reflect changes in our business practices or the law. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
